Make in India – Defence Cooperation Expo between India and Kazakhstan. India and Kazakhstan Defence cooperation Expo webinar was held between both countries under the theme “Make in India for the World, India – Kazakhstan Defence Cooperation: Webinar and Expo”. The webinar was organized by the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence through FICCI which is an association of business organisations in India.
Highlights:
- The webinar with Kazakhstan is conducted under the part of the series of webinars which are being conducted with friendly foreign countries to boost defence exports.
- These webinars are being held in order to achieve defence export target of 5 billion dollars in the next five years.
- Discussions were held about need to leverage opportunities for co-development, co-production and to meet their requirements.
- The webinar was attended by 350 participants and 39 virtual exhibition stalls including the 7 stalls from Kazakh companies.
- Recently, India is launched Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan which is a Self-reliant India campaign is the vision of new India envisaged by the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi
