SCERT Punjab D.P.Ed 2021 Notification Details:
About SCERT:
State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Punjab, Chandigarh came into existence in July 1981 as Nodal Agency for bringing qualitative improvement in School Education. The National Policy of Education 1986/ 1992 followed by Program of Action for the future necessitated its strengthening so as to equip it to provide leadership for effective implementation of assigned programs for bringing qualitative improvement in School Education.
Eligibility Criteria:
The Admission for D.P.Ed Course is based on the Physical Efficiency test (Canadian Test), Academic Qualification and Co-curricular Activity such as NCC/NSS.
Physical Efficiency Test (Canadian Test): Physical Efficiency Test takes place for 35 seconds. The Candidates should perform without any mistakes. Only Two Changes will be given for this test. The Weightage for Sports Qualification is 45 % (Maximum from 50 Marks) The Physical Efficiency Test includes

Academic Qualification: Senior Secondary (10+2) Exam or equivalent. The Weightage for Academic qualification is 50% (% age of +2 Marks Obtained).
Co-Curricular activity: The Weightage for NCC/NSS activities is 5 % (Maximum from 5 Marks).
