Chennai Customs Recruitment 2021; Salary Rs. 81100/- PM || Download Application: The Sukhani, Seaman, and Greaser positions have been advertised by the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs (General) in Chennai. There are a total of 07 vacancies. The application form must be received by December 31, 2021. Candidates are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline. Other modes of application will not be considered.
Candidates must be 30 years old for Sukhani vacancies and 25 years old for Seaman and Greaser vacancies as of the closing date to apply. Candidates must have finished the eighth grade and have 3 to 7 years of work experience on a seagoing vessel, including 2 years of helmsman and seamanship employment. Shortlisted candidates are entitled to receive a salary from the appropriate board ranging from Rs. 25500 to Rs. 81100/- per month with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- for Sukhani vacancies and Rs. 18000 to Rs. 56900/- per month with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/- for Seamen and Greaser vacancies.

Candidates are shortlisted based on a written exam that includes general knowledge and job-related technical questions. Candidates who pass the written exam will be invited to an interview. The date of the written examination, interview, and selection process outcome will be posted on the Chennai Custom Intranet and official website.

Application in legal size paper with attested photocopies of educational qualifications, proof of age, category, essential and desirable certificates, and other documents as listed below. Ordinary Post or Speed Post Addressed to the Joint Commissioner of Customs (PV) Commissionerate General Office of the Commissioner of Customs Custom House, No. 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai – 600 001 and four unsigned passport size photographs and two self addressed unstamped envelopes of 25 cms. X 12 cms. are to be sent wherever necessary.
