- Earlier, Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) had conducted written examination on 25th July, 2021 for various Group `A’ posts in FSSAI against recruitment notice DR-01/2021.
- The selection to the posts is to be based on the combined score of written examination and interview, wherein the weight age of these stages is 85% and 15% respectively. Interview letter will be issued to shortlisted candidates separately.

- Based on the marks scored in the written examination and prima-facie verification of eligibility, candidates in the ratio of 1:5 as per merit have been short listed for interview. Category wise cut off marks for short listing for interview is as under:-
- Cut-off marks for UR – 30
- Cut-off marks for OBC – 28
- Cut-off marks for SC – 21
