Parliament Panel Suggests Setting up Of IIA across India Comparable to IITs and IIMs. The Indian Parliament Panel suggests to making the Indian Institutes of Accounting-IIA as equal to the number of IITs and IIMs to develop in the country. The panel said that, the government should concern about the setting up of Indian institutes of accounting (IIAs) on comparable to the nooks and corners of the nation to improve the development of the accounting and finance sector.
The report of the standing committee’s observation regard finance reads “Chartered Accountants, the Cost and Works Accountants and the Company Secretaries (Amendment) Bill, 2021”. This report was tabled at the Parliament session. The set up of IIA across India to the number equivalent to the IITs and IIMs on India was take place as the part of the observation reported in the panel.

The amendment bill suggested that the respective councils of the 3 organizations namely the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, must each constitute a disciplinary directorate, which should be headed by a Director who should be an officer of the institute.
