The LokSabha member for Khunti, Munda, addressed the chosen candidates at Hatia Railway Station and exhorted the young women to serve as torchbearers for other girls in the outlying parts of the tribally predominate districts.

“You might come from isolated villages where there is little exposure. But keep in mind that you are a part of a region where problems are common. Being able to adjust to a new environment shouldn’t worry you. I’ll be there to visit you with my son. You will receive training today. You would eventually be instructing other boys and girls. You’re heading to the manufacturing facility today. We are working to create such a unit in our state,” Munda said.

“My parents are fully behind me in my endeavour, and I am quite excited about it. Before boarding the train, NishaBaraik, a native of Tukupani in Simdega district, says, “The best thing is that I will get the chance to continue with my schooling as well as an opportunity to form my professional future and become self-reliant.

Among her six siblings, Baraik is the third-oldest. Her parents, three younger sisters, two older brothers, and two older sisters all rely on agriculture for a living. To help the family’s income, her elder brother also operates an auto rickshaw.
