Will RBI Again Circulate Rs.1000 Note?? Get The Detailed News Here: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on yesterday announced that it has planned to withdraw the country’s highest currency note i.e. Rs. 2000 notes from circulation. RBI states that citizens can deposit or exchange the existing 2000 rupees note until 30.09.2023.
RBI also states that there is no change in the value of the 2000 rupee note, which will continue to be a legal tender. Due to this announcement, many of them have a doubt and questions raised about whether will RBI is going to release a 1000 rupees note again. But according to the report, RBI has no plan to introduce the 1000 rupee note again.
The report also states that there are enough 100 and 500 rupees notes in circulation to manage the withdrawal of 2000 rupees notes so there is no plan to introduce 1000 rupees notes. Citizens can able to exchange 2000 rupees note up to a limit of Rs. 20,000 at a time from May 23, 2023, through banks and other mentioned financial institutions
