BSF Recruitment 2024 Qualification
- Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications.
- Graduate holding an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License, or a Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination Certificate/License in any of the following categories:
- Avionics: E, I, R or ES, IS, RN
- Mechanical: A, C or HA & JE

Candidates should hold either an Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunications, or Aeronautical streams for MI-17 IV. Alternatively, for Advance Light Helicopters, candidates should be graduates and hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s license or a Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination certificate or license in Air Frame (A), Engine (C), or (HA or JE).

Should have a total of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with at least 1 year spent working as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Preferably, this experience should be with the type of aircraft or helicopter operated by BSF (as specified according to current requirements).

BSF Recruitment 2024 Salary
Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of level 11 (Rs.67,700 – Rs.2,08,700) according to the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
BSF Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process will involve four phases.
- Phase I – Written Examination
- Phase II – Documentation, PST, and Oral cum Practical
- Phase III – Interview and Medical Examination
BSF Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
- Candidates must submit an application fee of Rs.400/-.
- No examination fee for females, SC, ST, and BSF serving personnel. All candidates, regardless of exemption, will be charged a service fee of Rs.40/- plus taxes, totaling Rs.47.2/-, by the CSC.
