Southern Railway Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
Candidates should be an age limit between 18 to 30 years as of 01.01.2025. The age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Southern Railway Recruitment 2024 Qualification
Essential Professional Qualification:
Possession of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Instrumental Music (Violin) from a Government recognized Institute
Possession of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Instrumental Music (Mridangam) from a Government recognized Institute
Essential Minimum Prescribed Qualification:
Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for NTPC categories
Or
Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT / SCVT for technician categories.
Or
Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT for technician categories
Southern Railway Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The recruitment will be based on a Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Practical Demonstration and Document Verification.
The date, time, and venue of the Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT), Practical Demonstration / Document Verification will be fixed by RRC Chennai and will be displayed on the website of Railway Recruitment Cell, Southern Railway at http://www.rrcmas.in.

The selected candidates will be placed in Pay Scale Level – 2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
